Hi All

Please review my new forums http://forums.ubuntulinux.co.in. It forum on ubuntu discussion, technical documentation, linux latest news and ubuntu releases. Any feedback is highly appreciated.

Very nice Site.. but I think there is a room for some improvements there. Just trying to help you.

What do you think if you add some MAIN website links in your forums, nice to see that you have used SMF, else of PHPBB. I am a fan of PHPBB in that case but SMF will work too. You can offer some templates to users upon their desires as well as add some general topics to your forums so that more people may get attracted like web masters.

You should add a real logo in the header. The site looks too "plain".

Yes, you are right. There must be some colorful thing to work on. The forums are quite good but why not you use the PHPBB script for your forums as they are free and have many updated mods available to add. Still environment needs t be changed.

First, I think Simple Machines forum is not much good for your forums. As you have a forums genre which is not widely foretold and you will be having less members in the forums. Mostly Web-masters forums and General Chat forums get most traffic as everyone seems to be interested in that. You should be looking for some script that can index all of your posts in google with some good PR etc.

You have nicely designed your forum. The contents are also of good quality. But you have to increase the number of posts and members. You may take the help of some professional forum posters and seo experts for that.
